ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The program intends to present the methodology for the design and development of the components at Microwave and Millimeter Wave Frequencies. It attempts to provide a timely update on latest trends, technologies and tools in RF and Microwave domain. The curriculum will present the techniques for design, modeling and fabrication of different types of basic antennas. It aims to provide a platform to the participant to grab knowledge in the field of Applied Electromagnetism in various applications and about the emerging technology of Microwave integrated circuits. The program will include the various aspects of antennas and the state of the art developments that have taken place in the recent time. It opens up opportunity to highlight the design consideration and application of the antennas in the realm of Military, Space, Biomedical and wireless communication. The course will address the issues like EMI/EMC and the measurement of the radiated electromagnetic field quantities to ensure the satisfactory performances of the electrical or electronic equipment’s in Electromagnetic Environment.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME

This workshop aiming at bringing together researchers from academia and industry on various cutting-edge research areas Antenna, Antenna Arrays, Intelligent Computing, Soft Computing, Bio Computing, Optimization, Communications, Smart Antennas to create awareness about these domains. The workshop will include sessions focused on technologies, techniques and applications with intent to foster the exchange of knowledge and ideas between experts. The objective of the course is to impart in-depth knowledge in the Computer-aided design of antennas through EM simulators. The workshop provides hands-on experience in using ANSYS HFSS and CST simulator tools, leading to the design of patch antennas and other types of antennas. 4-day programme will enable the participants to understand the simulation principles and optimization procedures in the identified topics
